February 2008: Vifill Atkasson, a 16 years old boy from the small seaport Akranes, became the new star among the youth of Iceland. He phoned the White House in Washington and pretended to be the president of Iceland. After run through several control mechanisms successfully the staff believed him and made an appointment for a personal call with the U.S. President. But the swindle was discovered and the boy got a visit from the police - and a lot of applause from his fellow citizens.
